New York {Open}Solaris User Group - NYCOSUG
The 4th New York {Open}Solaris Community User Group meeting.
The New York OpenSolaris User's Group (NYCOSUG) will be holding it's monthly meeting on Thursday, November 15th at the Sun offices in midtown, New York City. We are consolidating our October and November monthly meetings into one, slightly longer, event in the middle of November since a number of interesting speakers are in town - visiting customers and community.
You are cordially invited to take part in this event.
We have a NUMBER of topics featured this time around, including a discussion of free Sun Studio developer tools, Indiana, OpenSolaris binary distribution, Modernization work in OpenSolaris as well as Intel-specific enhancements to OpenSolaris.
Meeting will start at 6pm. We will also be giving out media DVDs so that participants could install and experiment with Solaris Express Developer Edition 9/07 distribution. For details about SXDE, please see http://sun.com/sxde
