Announcing the May 27th, 2010 meeting of the NY OpenSolaris Users Group
Angelo Rajadurai is a senior engineer in the ISV engineering organization within Oracle's (formerly Sun’s) Market Development organization.
Angelo started with Sun over 15 years ago, working in the Solaris x86 engineering team, followed by working with several of Sun’s large software and technology partners on variois Solaris engineering and optimization projects. He has presented Solaris & related technologies to developer audiences worldwide.
Angelo Rajadurai will be discussing and presenting on recent developments in dynamically tracing J2EE types of applications using BTrace.
BTrace is a dynamic, safe tracing system for the Java platform/J2EE application environments. BTrace can be used to dynamically trace a running Java program (similar to DTrace for OpenSolaris applications and OS). BTrace dynamically instruments the classes of the target application to inject tracing code ("bytecode tracing"). Tracing code is expressed in Java programming language. There is also integration with DTrace for the OpenSolaris platform.
The location is our usual - at the Sun Microsystems (now, Oracle) offices in midtown, New York City.
Meeting will begin at 6pm.
