Welcome to NYCOSUG - New York City {Open}Solaris Users Group 

Announcing - A special Virtualization meeting with members of Sun kernel engineering teams!

As previously announced on our list and at our recent meeting, members of Sun Solaris kernel engineering
will be in town to review strategies for Sun virtualization (hardware as well as the operating system). They're here
on a mission to see a few customers and have agreed to meet with our usergroup and the rest of the community of interested parties.

Specifically - the following individuals are coming:

Dan Price, Chief Architect, Zones Engineering
Jordan Vaughan, Zones Engineering
John Falkenthal, LDOMs eng manager
Jeff McMeekin, Solaris Product Management
Mark Thacker, Mgr Solaris Product Management

Based on the previously floated inquiry, we ARE going to be having this meeting so please do come down, especially
if you had previously responded to me that you would!  :-)

I know its short notice - but please join us for our upcoming event!

The location is our usual - at the Sun offices in midtown, New York City.

Meeting will begin at 6pm.
We'll have refreshments and drinks to serve;  OpenSolaris media, t-shirts, other swag to give away and raffle off.

Sun is located at 101 Park Avenue, northeast corner of East 40th street and Park Avenue. 2 blocks from the Grand Central Station and subway routes 4, 5, 6. Sun Microsystems, Inc. is located on the 3rd and 4th floors. For after-hours meetings, please sign-in with the security guard in the lobby and proceed to the right-most elevator bank. Upon arrival, check-in at the security desk. Due to the building's security requirements, it might be easier if you've registered prior to the day of the event. Proceed toward the right-most elevator banks, and take a lift up to the 4th floor.
