New York {Open}Solaris User Group - NYCOSUG

The 9th New York {Open}Solaris Community User Group meeting is here!

The New York OpenSolaris User's Group (NYCOSUG) will be holding it's next monthly meeting on Thursday, May 29th at the offices of Sun Microsystems Inc., in midtown New York City!

You are cordially invited to take part in this event.

Please RSVP by 5/27, so your name will be on the list with the building security personnel.

Featured topic will be on the subject of DTrace development and associated experiences, presented by our very own community member Chad Mynhier. Chad has also attended dtrace.conf that was recently held in San Francisco. If you care about DTrace and want to get better at understanding it, you likely won't regret attending this one! Chad has presented to us earlier last year on the subject of his code contributions to OpenSolaris. His paper has recently been accepted at the upcoming OpenSolaris Developer Conference, set to take place in Europe this summer. Details for that event (and Chad's talk) are here: http://www.osdevcon.org/2008/program.html

Meeting will start at 6pm. Refreshments should be here by then.
