New York {Open}Solaris User Group - NYCOSUG 
Announcing - The 1st New York's {Open}Solaris Community User Group meeting.
It is finally here!
The New York OpenSolaris User's Group (NYCOSUG) held it's first meeting on Wednesday, June 27 at the Sun offices in midtown, New York City.
The featured topics were "What is OpenSolaris" and "OpenSolaris Network Virtualisation".
Meeting started at 6pm. We had given out media DVDs so that participants could install an OpenSolaris-based distro.
Despite the inclement weather and an outage to a part of the NY subway system just prior to the event, many of you managed to make it - thank you!

Sun is located at 101 Park Avenue, northeast corner of East 40th street and Park Avenue. 2 blocks from the Grand Central Station and subway routes 4, 5, 6. Sun Microsystems, Inc. is located on the 3rd and 4th floors. For after-hours meetings, please sign-in with the security guard in the lobby and proceed to the right-most elevator bank. Upon arrival, check-in at the security desk. Due to the building's security requirements, it might be easier if you've registered prior to the day of the event. Proceed toward the right-most elevator banks, and take a lift up to the 4th floor.
