This months meeting agenda is:

• First up are lightning talks. These are 5-minute talks on a single topic. Just come along on the night and talk! You might want to lead a short discussion on a topic of your choice.

• Then Alex Sims will talk about his experience on using ZFS as the basis for a home NAS.

• Time permitting we'll talk about what's not supported in Solaris 11 and does it matter

During the meeting we'll distribute OpenSolaris T-Shirts (please order when you register) and "Powered by OpenSolaris" stickers (once you've successfully installed of course :-) ).

There will be an opportunity to bring your OpenSolaris/Oracle Solaris issues and questions to the assembled group (without fee :-), particularly installation issues. Installation disks will be available at the meeting (including OpenSolaris 2009.06, release 134) so you might want to bring your laptop and install, eat pizza and learn about OpenSolaris.

The meeting is free and open to the public. We will be ordering pizza on the night (bring $8-$10). Also bring beer or soft drinks.

The meeting runs from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, Tuesday 28th June 2011 at 115 Flinders St Adelaide (Telstra, not the usual place). You will need to phone 0427 717 293 on arrival for entry to the building.
