What's new or fixed

Since we are right at the beginning of the Xfce project launch, as you would expect this page is pretty small. The best way of course to keep track of what is fixed or new is to have a look at the Changelog file in the spec-files-xfce subversion repository. Unfortunately the Changelog file can not show you graphically what has changed, so that is the purpose of this page.

Xfce now works with Compiz - 2007-03-08

Finally Xorg 7.2 came out with Solaris SXCE build 59. Using the intructions to build Compiz from Erwann Chénedé's Blog, allowed me to rebuild Xfce with the Compositor enabled. The screenshots can be found on the Eye Candy Page.

Fixed Xorg Extensions - 2007-02-10

Description

Previously the "Display Preferences" were blanked out due to the build not finding the Xorg Extensions like RANDR. After the fix you can now use the "Display Preferences" and set your screen resolution, and display gamma.
