What are "The Goodies"?

 If you are looking for the 1970's BBC comedy "The Goodies" starring Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graeme Garden, Bill Oddie, then you have come to the wrong place. This site contains information related to the  Xfce Desktop Goodies for Open Solaris. The goodies are applications, panel applets, artwork etc that is not part of the official Xfce Desktop release.

So far for Open Solaris we have JDS 'spec files' and patches for the following goodies -

How can I get the Goodies

 You can either find the binary packages at the Xfce download center, or you can checkout the JDS spec files from the xfce-goodies subversion repository and build the goodies yourself.

 We are adding new spec files as soon as we port them to Open Solaris. If there is a particular goodie that you would like added or you have created a spec file for a goodie we do not have yet. Please post a message to desktop-discuss forum.
