Web Stack Project Repository

The Web Stack project has its own IPS repository at http://pkg.opensolaris.org/webstack/

This repository contains additional packages which may be of interest to Web Stack users. Content includes early access packages (such as new components and updated component versions, for early testing before they are ready for stable use), experimental components (which the Web Stack project may or may not eventually fully support) and add-on applications which, while unsupported, may enhance the capabilities of OpenSolaris Web Stack.

Before adding this repository to your system please be aware of the following limitations:

• All packages in this repository are entirely unsupported (but we'll be happy to listen to feedback or questions on webstack-discuss@opensolaris.org)
• Unlike the content in the primary repositories, the packages hosted here may disappear at any time without notice
• These packages may also be updated incompatibly (or compatibly) at any time without notice
• These packages may also not be updated with any predictable frequency, so they may be outdated and/or contain known bugs
• This repository may at times contain experimental packages which do not work at all
• These packages are only available for OpenSolaris and only on x86 platform

To summarize, do not depend on the packages in the Web Stack project repository for any production work. That said, feel free to take advantage of it for evaluation, testing, experimental development and such.
