Here are some screenshots from the version of Visual Panels available
with OpenSolaris 2008.05.
The Apache panel allows you to easily configure your web server,
including creating new virtual hosts.

Clicking on a virtual host lets you change its configuration.

The core files panel offers a selection of common core file generation
options.

If you are particular about your core files, a more detailed view is
available.

Here you can see the user sharing a filesystem in the default share
group.

The Services panel lets the user see and configure the system's
SMF services. Hopefully this panel is a last resort.

You can navigate to a specific service instance to perform maintenance
or view its details.

You can peruse the system's configuration as an unprivileged user, but
modifying it might require additional privileges. This is the
login dialog. Though it's not yet explicitly
supported, all panels are capable of configuring remote systems running
Visual Panels (hence the host field).

If you have authenticated as another user or logged into another
machine in one panel, we permit you to select that user or machine
in another without reauthenticating. The option to use a particular
user/machine disappears when the last window using that user/machine
is closed.
