Volo has integrated as of OpenSolaris build 106

Introduction

"Volo" is latin. It means "I Fly".

The Volo project has three main goals:

• Move Solaris away from STREAMS as the main mode of operation for sockets
• Allow new socket types via a "pluggable sockets" interface
• Provide a kernel socket interface

The Volo development gate is available via Mercurial:

Volo was integrated in OpenSolaris build 106, so obtain the source from the onnv gate
