SCSI RDMA Protocol (SRP target) port provider for COMSTAR

Project Description

The project delivers a target implementation of SCSI Remote Protocol using InfiniBand as the underlying transport. SRP accelerates the SCSI protocol by mapping the data transfer phases to RDMA operations.  As a result an SRP initiator should be able to read and write data from a COMSTAR SRP target at high data rates with relatively low CPU utilization. This project will develop and contribute a COMSTAR SRP port provider implementation for the COMSTAR project.

Status

The COMSTAR SRP Target integrated into build 116 and will be available in SXCE 116 and OpenSolaris 2010.02.
