Tips & Tricks
- You can write Live-USB onto an SD-card or USB memory stick with this (thanks to Anil Gulecha and Bernd Schemmer) script.
The default username is: *alex with password: alex. The default root password is: root
To manually start the X-Windows system, please use the startx* command. - To change X Keyboard Layout in runtime (in MilaX 0.3) (German for example): setxkbmap de; xkbd
- Switching X keyboard: Alt-Shift or click on a fbxkb icon on the bottom right of JWM panel
- If using qemu or vmware you do not see torsmo on the desktop (if you're using a Milax Version prior to 0.3), copy a configuration file (/usr/dss/etc/.torsmorc) to /tmp, remove two lines concerning 'Networking' and run:
$ torsmo -c /tmp/.torsmorc
