Looks like I haven't been updating the status on a weekly basis. Lately the work on the target has been on two fronts, ZFS/iSCSI integration and iSNS.
The ZFS/iSCSI integration has been completed and putback into the ON consolidation. These should be available in the nightly bits in a couple of days if not already. I just not sure how often things are synchronized.
Support for iSNS is also being added at this time. No scheduled date is available, but as progress is made I'll provide updates.
The iSCSI Target is schedule for Solaris 10 Update 4. Process related work is going on now.
Several bug fixes have also been made.

Several folks have asked for updates regarding the iSCSI Target project. This se
ction of the project page will contain that information. As each week passes I'l
l move the previous content to an old news page for those who might not visit th
is page weekly can catch up with what's been happening.

Currently the main focus of the project will be to enable ZFS to create a target
from a ZVOL using. The code has been split out from the daemon to create a sepa
rate library for ZFS to use. Work to be done now entails storing certain informa
tion which the target creates (iSCSI TargetName and GUID) onto the ZVOL as a pro
perty.
