Status Updates

 The following pages attempt to co-ordinate some of the discussions that have been had around the problem statement, and the resulting engineering decisions and projects that have been undertaken to meet some of the requirements. Most of the engineering discussion around design, implementation, and testing (including roadmaps) will take place on the appropriate projects pages.

Timeline

 OpenSolaris operates on a 6 monthly time based release schedule. There is already a successful 1st release available now. The next release will be in November 2008, called OpenSolaris 2008.11.
