We ran automated test suites and manual tests on the build. The IP Observability automated tests are partially ready (only loopback tests are available). Our testing took place on SPARC, AMD64, and Intel platforms. All tests passed (except for known ON bugs). A findleaks check showed leaks; however, they are small and we believe they are not Project Clearview problems.
Our testing took place on a variety of different machines with a mix of SPARC, Intel, and AMD64 architectures.
We ran our automated tests for the GLDv3 driver framework, IPobs, and the DLPI API using SPARC, Intel, and AMD64 machines using bge, e1000g, and dmfe network cards. Machines were grouped in pairs and were connected via a switch, with the exception of the dmfe card, which was connected back to back with an e1000g card.
We ran the GLDv3 test suite using the GLDv3 network cards (bge and e1000g).
The DLPI automated test exercised the VLAN observability code and the DLPI API. The DLPI test ran on machines using dmfe, e1000g, and bge cards.
PIT ran findleaks, tcp, ipv6_basic_api. All tests passed except for known ON bugs.
