The following table compiles all the feedback that have been received about the GUI prototype. Comments about individual properties in the Property Settings tab have been combined under the column "Properties Settings Tab".

Your comments are helpful. Check out the prototype and send us your suggestions.

Will graph tab show relationship between various components? Why not separate current status from the rest of the information being displayed?Present properties as a table with the value column as editable, either as a checkbox or as a dropdown list so all values are visible at a glance.
If you edit a link that belongs to an aggregation, will you be sufficiently notified? Term “advertise” is vague, especially if the values for each property is inconsistent.
Maybe “published”?
Having to set values of properties by turns, and not seeing values of the others, is tedious (in favor of preceding feedback).
“Disconnected” icon looks like ears. For MTU (2 comments):
Need for ability to input arbitrary number in addition to the two options currently available.
Prefer to be able to configure by both selecting from options as well as entering values.
Should not have the same icon for both physical and virtual interfaces. dladm and the GUI provided a run down of what the driver will do for a respective chipset since the first step in setting a property is knowing if you're capable of doing it in the first place.
Separate icon for “configured, but not working” interfaces At the moment, the only features which customers really *need* to know about are: 1) link speed/duplex abilities 2) mtu restrictions 3) vlan support (not tunable, just viewable)
perhaps the terminology is not quite right, but something like "full VLAN support" or "full MTU size tagging" is needed?
Orange icon looks strange.
1G-f looks weird. Better: 1G FDX.
Would like to see real-time statistics in a graphical mode.
