auditd(1M) Configuration in SMF
auditd(1M) Configuration in SMF
The goal of this project is to move audit system configuration (audit_control(4) and audit_startup(1M) properties/actions) to smf(5).
Having audit_control(4) and audit_startup(1M) migrated to SMF helps keeping clean audit configuration since it eliminates $EDITOR as a configuration tool and leverages svccfg(1M). Audit configuration and management will be simplified.
