The opensolaris.org website is made up of multiple applications and sub-sites that provide various services.
After the website transition to an XWiki-based site in the fall of 2009, typing "http://opensolaris.org" or "http://www.opensolaris.org" will automatically redirect to "http://hub.opensolaris.org". This will be the main part of the site containing general information, FAQs, collective spaces (Community Groups, Projects and User Groups), and navigation to all parts of the domain.
Community Participation
auth.opensolaris.org: Site registration, login and account management.
poll.opensolaris.org: Voting application used for community elections.
hub.opensolaris.org: The main part of the opensolaris.org website where the majority of the community spends the majority of its time. Also directs people to the other applications that offer specific services for developers (test, code review, etc.).
mail.opensolaris.org: List of available mailing lists with descriptions.
planet.opensolaris.org: Blog aggregator of OpenSolaris hackers and contributors.
Defect Tracking
bugs.opensolaris.org: Bugs-by-mail mechanism that enables non-Sun people to submit bugs to Sun's internal bug database. Submit bugs and view bugs in available categories/subcategories.
defect.opensolaris.org: Instance of Bugzilla that provides open defect tracking. View, file, update and track bugs in the available products/components.
Source Code
src.opensolaris.org: OpenGrok source code browser.
arc.opensolaris.org: Information about and case data for the Architecture Review Committees.
cr.opensolaris.org: Post and share code reviews.
repo.opensolaris.org: Source Code Management console (Mercurial and Subversion Source Code Management systems). See information about and access source code repositories.
OpenSolaris Packages and Porting
pkg.opensolaris.org: Search and browse available OpenSolaris package repositories for product and development builds.
jucr.opensolaris.org: Build and publish packages for community review and submission to a package repository.
pkgfactory.opensolaris.org: Web interfaces under development that will allow people to interact with the Package Factory: suggest new software to build; participate in the review process for available software, and vote on software to prioritize submissions to Source Juicer.
test.opensolaris.org: Access to the OpenSolaris Test Farm, Test Execution Platform and Self-Service Testing.
