OpenSolaris 2008.05

OpenSolaris OS 2008.05 X Window System

The OpenSolaris Operating System 2008.05 release contains a mix of the X Window System packages from the Solaris Nevada builds, and builds of the FOX Project gate.   These pages document these packages.

This release caught us in the midst of several transitions - X11R6 to X11R7, mostly closed source to mostly open source, internal source gate to external, SVR4 packages to IPS packages - and thus is more complicated and messy than we'd like, but we hope to clean that up for future releases, once these transitions are completed.
