Privilege Debugging Tool

This project has provided a small Perl and DTrace script that can be used by system administrators and application developers to profile the privileges used by their programs and services.  With this information, processes can be more easily restricted to have only those privileges that they require.

The tool provided by this project along with a privilege debugging methodology is discussed in more detail in the Sun BluePrints article, "Privilege Debugging in the Solaris™ 10 Operating System" (February 2006).

You can download a copy of the tool here.
