This brand has a potential impact on any future code change which crosses the user/kernel boundary in either Nevada or S10. Now that this brand has integrated, it is the responsibility of the development community to ensure your changes don't break the brand and to fix any brand-related bugs created by your projects or bugfixes. We'll be holding a KTD and various TOIs to communicate more details about working with this brand. We have also written a developer guide which discusses the issues developers need to be aware of when making changes across the user/kernel boundary, as well as how to test that your changes don't break these branded zones. The guide is available at: http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/zones/s10brand_dev_guide/ This is a living document, so we would appreciate any feedback on improving the guide. Anyone in the community making a source contribution which crosses the user/kernel boundary, along with the the person sponsoring the change, should also be familiar with the issues discussed in the developer guide. We'll be happy answer any questions on zones-discuss at opensolaris dot org. Brand-specific bugs may be filed under solaris/brandz/s10_brand. Solaris10 branded zones team
