Subject: Flag-day for PSARC 2006/379 Solaris on Extended Partition

If you are not using solaris on x86/amd64 platform, you can safely
ignore the rest of this message.

With the putback of :

PSARC 2006/379 Solaris on Extended Partition
6644364 Extended partitions need to be supported on Solaris

Solaris will have the capability to manage Logical drives in an
extended partition. The following are the visible changes that this
integration introduces:

     * A new submenu in fdisk to manage logical drives.

     * Device nodes starting from cX[tX]dXp5 to cX[tX]dXp36 for
       logical drives.
(A maximum of 32 logical drives are supported).

For Live Upgrade users, If you are doing a Live upgrade from any of the
previous solaris releases to Nevada build 119 or above, you would need
to use the latest LU packages from 119 or above.
