Subject: Heads up: arn(7D) wifi driver

You can safely ignore this message if you don't use wifi adapter based on
Atheros AR9280/9281/9285 chipset.

I just integrated the followings into Solaris Nevada:

PSARC 2009/322 Atheros AR5416/5418/9280/9281/9285 wireless Driver
6814300 P3 Need to support Atheros AR9280 and AR9281
6834736 P4 Need support for new wireless chipset AR9285

The arn(7D) driver is based on GLDv3 Framework, you can easily use it by
dladm or nwam. Note that arn supports security mode of None/WEP/WPA-TKIP.
See http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/laptop/wireless/arn for detailed information.

Please file bugs at solaris/driver/wifi if you find any problems.

Thanks,

Br,

Lin
