Subject: Heads-up: Nevada b114 workaround for CR 6832657 HBA becomes unusable in x86...

This is an update for the earlier Heads-up message with Subject
"Heads-Up: Using snv_112 or snv_113 on x86/amd64 platforms
may turn Sun-branded Emulex HBAs unusable, CR 6832657"
that was sent out on 04/22/2009.

Nevada build-114 and latter can be installed on both sparc and x86
platforms with Sun-branded Emulex HBAs. There is a temporary workaround
in build-114 that will prevent the issue reported in CR 6832657.

New Firmwares that are embedded in emlxs driver will not be
download automatically to these HBAs in build-114 and latter.
If new firmware is needed, that can be downloaded from
Emulex website by going to http://www.emulex.com/downloads/sun.html
and following appropriate HBA model link.

There will be a New Heads-up message, when CR 6832657 is fully understood and fixed.
