This putback, as the first phase of this project, integrates hwahc(7D) and hwarc(7D), which are used to drive HWA dongles. The following are also integrated: wusb_ca(7D) - used to associate a WUSB device with the host, wusb_df(7D) - download firmware for some HWA dongles, hwa1480_fw(7D) - Firmware for HWA dongles based on Intel i1480 chips, uwba(7D) - a kernel module to handle common UWB protocols, wusbadm(1M) - a utility to manage device association information. Users should first use svcadm(1M) to enable the WUSB service, svc:/system/wusbd:default. Then, users can use wusbadm(1M) to set up association between an HWA host and a WUSB device. With the association, users can connect a WUSB device to the associated host and then do data transfer between them as the wired USB devices do. WUSB related CRs can be filed under the following product/cat/subcat: driver issues: solaris/driver/wusb utility issues: solaris/utility/wusbadm Questions can be directed to: usb-core at sun dot com Thanks, WUSB Development Team
