Subject: Heads up: rwn wifi driver

You can safely ignore this message if you don't use wifi card based on Ralink RT2700/2800 IEEE802.11a/b/g/n wireless network device.

I just integrated the followings into Solaris Nevada:

PSARC 2009/167 Ralink RT2700/2800 IEEE802.11 a/b/g/n wireless network device
6732657 Need support for Ralink 2860
6736786 Need support for Ralink RT2790

The rwn(7D) driver is based on GLDv3 Framework, you can easily use it by dladm or nwam. Note that rwn supports security mode of None/WEP/WPA.
See http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/laptop/wireless/rwn for supported devices of rwn driver.

Please file bug at solaris/driver/wifi if you find any problem.

Thanks,
Felix
