Subject: Heads up: Volo - Low Latency Socket Framework

The integration of:

PSARC 2007/587 Volo ~-- Low Latency Socket Framework
PSARC 2008/694 Volo ~-- Interface Amendment

Constitutes a flag day for Cap-eye Install users, BFU users are not
impacted. Cap-eye Install users will have to BFU the system for the
Install to work.

Volo provides a framework to dynamically add non-streams based sockets.
It also provides a kernel socket API. UDP/TCP/ICMP/RTS/SCTP/SDP sockets
have been re-implemented to use the new framework.

Use solaris/kernel/sockfs and solaris/kernel/tcp-ip as appropriate to
file bugs and RFEs related to Volo.

Thanks.
