Subject: Heads up: perl 5.6 removal

Greetings

With the putback of 6766281 "perl 5.6.1 is obsolete" Perl 5.6 is no
longer in ON. There have also been changes to bfu.sh to remove 5.6.1
from the system, so it is recommended that you upgrade your copy of
SUNWonbld to the version on the gate prior to BFU-ing past this changeset.

In addition, any user-installed modules in /usr/perl5/5.6.1
/usr/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1 /usr/perl5/vendor_perl/5.6.1 must be moved to
the appropriate 5.8.4 directory, or bfu will result in their immediate
deletion.

If you are a user of incremental nightly, since nightly leaves some bits
around it's suggested that anyone doing an incremental build from an
older version should remove the following files:

packages/`uname -p`/nightly/SUNWpl5*
packages/`uname -p`/nightly-nd/SUNWpl5*
proto/root_`uname_p`/usr/perl5/5.6.1
proto/root_`uname -p`/usr/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1
proto/root_`uname -p`/usr/perl5/vendor_perl/5.6.1

failure to do so is not fatal, but will generate warnings that can be
safely ignored.

Thank you
