Subject: heads up - arcmsr(7d) driver is now integrated

Hi all,

PSARC/2008/079 (arcmsr SAS/SATA RAID driver) introduces arcmsr(7d)
on the x86 and x64 platforms, to support the Areca Technologies SAS
and SATA RAID cards.

Direct installation of Solaris to arcmsr-attached storage is supported,
along with use of arcmsr for dump devices.

There is no command line or gui RAID card management interface, so
LUN configuration must be done via the BIOS.

Bugs and RFEs can be filed at http://bugs.opensolaris.org, targeting
solaris/driver/arcmsr.

I'd like to thank Billion Wu and Erich Chen of Areca for their
support in getting this driver integrated into OpenSolaris.
