With my putback of 6480573 - SUNWlur package needs to be split into two packages - SUNWlur+SUNWlucfg in to install consolidation, there is a change in the live Upgrade procedure. Beginning with build 52 of Nevada, the Live Upgrade software has a new package called SUNWlucfg. This package must be added to the system along with the other Live Upgrade packages SUNWluu and SUNWlur. To use Live Upgrade from a Solaris 8, 9 and 10 boot environment, you will first need to apply the current set of Live Upgrade required patches listed in SunSolve Infodoc 72099. Live Upgrade from recent Nevada builds require only upgrading the Live Upgrade packages. To use Live Upgrade, you must upgrade the Live Upgrade packages from the targeted build as follows: # pkgrm SUNWluu SUNWlur # pkgadd -d <path to install image>/Solaris_11/Product SUNWlucfg SUNWlur SUNWluu NOTE: You must remove the package SUNWlucfg along with SUNWluu and SUNWlur when you are upgrading Live Upgrade packages if your current system has Nevada build 52 or above.
