Subject: Heads up: NFSv4 domain name checking change
If you use 'bfu' or net-install (or install from CD/DVD) to
install or upgrade your system you can safely ignore this.
However if you use anything else (Cap-eye Install, direct
copy, etc) you may want to read on.
The putback for CR6442422 fixes the overly restrictive NFSv4
domain name checks, which limited the first character of the
domain name to an alphabetic value. With this fix we now
allow alphanumeric characters as the first character of the
domain name.
If you wish to set your NFSv4 domain name to start with a
numeric character, then you'll need to either bfu or copy the
modified usr/lib/nfs/libmapid.so.1 from the proto area of your
workspace or the nightly nevada workspace, which contain these
changes, to /usr/lib/nfs/ on the system you want to update.
Otherwise, no other action is required.
