The putback today of 6379926 "audit_login.c and audit_mgrs.c are dead code"
in snv_35 represents a flag day for developers who bfu on old (pre build
snv_12 / CDE1.7_12) systems. Dtlogin will not start correctly.

console login, telnet, rlogin, ssh, gdm login are not affected.

The solution is to either upgrade post snv_12, or, as root, run the
CDE upgrade script:

	If you are using dtlogin.
# /etc/init.d/dtlogin stop
# cd /net/tostada.eng/export/cde-re/pkgs/CDE1.7-pkgs/$arch_opt/stable
# ./upgrade-cde

And if you want to use dtlogin.
# /etc/init.d/dtlogin start

where $arch = intel/sparc as appropriate.

You may see a number of warnings from the CDE upgrade script.
This seems to depend on the base install. Everything appears to
work as expected despite the noise.
