OGB Elections

A new governing board is elected by its members on a yearly basis, during the annual meeting of members. This is also an opportunity to pass constitutional amendments, or poll the members on a list of priority tasks that should be done during the following year.

Prior to the constitution being officially ratified and an initial set of OpenSolaris Governing Board members being elected, a community advisory board (CAB) had been formed to create a draft of the constitution based on the guidelines drawn out in the charter.
