What is STV? 

Solaris Two tiered Visualization(STV) is an open source project which based on open solaris[1] to make processes and threads visible to users, especially to students majoring in  computer science and related fields. Since it is open source , source code is available to everyone-although you have to follow the license as defined in the respective source files
