Documentation XML Sources
Sources to Solaris technical documentation manuals are now available for download! XML sources for the books are licensed under the Public Documentation License. The book sources validate with the latest beta version of the SolBook 3.5 XML DTD.
HTML files are provided as a convenience, and are made available under exclusive copyright of Sun Microsystems, Inc.
Note: Creating a derivative work of an open source document requires that you re-title the new book, see Sun Trademark and Logo Usage Guidelines, section D, for book re-titling practices and examples.
Man Page nroff Sources
Sources to Solaris man pages are now available for download! nroff sources for the books are licensed under the Common Development and Distribution License.
Documentation PDF Files
This is a tarball of the PDF files generated by a script from the XML sources above. There are a few issues that will hopefully continuue to get resolved as other issues already have. The indexes are not getting pulled in. Any feedback is welcome, as well as any assistance fixing the current issues. Please post comments in the docs-discuss forum.
