The files on this page are covered by a variety of licenses:
the OpenSolaris Binary License, the Common Development and
Distribution License (CDDL) Version 1.0
, and the GNU General Public License.  The specific license
for each file is indicated in the rightmost column of the table below.

The pre-built BFU archives contain binaries/source for
high key-strength crypto, known as the Encryption Kit (SUNWcry,
SUNWcryr).  Please note that certain countries restrict the
redistribution of high key-strength crypto.  If you live in one of these
countries, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are complying
with your country's laws in this area.

DISTRIBUTION LICENSE (CDDL)

The OpenSolaris code released under the CDDL shall be governed by the
laws of the State of California (excluding conflict-of-law provisions).

jurisdiction of the Federal Courts of the Northern District of
California and the state courts of the State of California, with venue
lying in Santa Clara County, California.

Additional install scripts

As shipped, the 'lx' brand can install Red Hat 3.x and CentOS 3.x.
Below is a script that supports the installation of Scientific Linux 3.0.8.
To enable this support, simply copy the script to /usr/lib/brand/lx/distros.  You are free to rename the script if you like, but the name must end with .distro.

CentOS tarball for easy installation

The following tarball contains a complete filesystem image from an
installed CentOS distribution.  The code in the tarball is covered by
a variety of licenses including, but not limited to, GPL, BSD, and
MPL.  If you have any hesitation about downloading any software with
any license whatsoever, then you should leave this one alone.
