Usage Guidelines

Clear Space

Please ensure the OpenSolaris technology fan buttons and banners remain visually distinct from other logos and graphics and do not overlap other design elements. Do not use the fan buttons or banners as design elements or incorporate them into any other design, graphic, illustration, or logo.

Using Fan Buttons and Banners

Please make sure the fan buttons and banners appear in a smaller size and in a less prominent location than both your web page title and, if applicable, your company name or logo. Please do not use the fan buttons or banners in any way that might suggest that Sun endorses or is responsible for the content of your web site or for any of your products, distributions, or services.

No Modifications

Please use the artwork provided. Do not alter the fan buttons and banners in any way. Do not animate, rotate, or otherwise distort any of the designs. And, only the versions of the fan buttons and banners shown here may be used. Using the same fan buttons and banners will help us spread the word and make it more likely that people will recognize the fan buttons when they see them.

These buttons and banners should be configured as active links back to this OpenSolaris community website. Please do not link the buttons and banners to other pages on your web site or to third-party web sites.
